More about Fundación OSDE

Fundación OSDE is a non-profit organization in Argentina, founded in 1991 with the purpose of promoting activities in the fields of culture, education, health, economy, law and policies. Fundación OSDE, as one of his most important goals, seeks to create ideas and develop projects combining freedom and creativity, both understood as necessary tools to transform and to innovate in our society. The mission of Fundación OSDE is based on the belief that there are ethical principles and values such as truth, freedom, integrity, solidarity, transparency, loyalty, and excellence that have been and are still present in the Argentine future vision. Fundación OSDE is proposing itself as a vehicle for the transmission of these ideas and is designing open spaces of reflection that admit the plurality of thought under common and shared principles. Currently, it produces many works and organizes events to support this mission: not only are they publishing "Todavía" http://www.revistatodavia.com.ar an important and influential magazine that invite some of the most important writers of the region, but also they are developing an important space to think the future of the regional integration in the MERCOSUR, supporting a strong network of education in many Latin American countries, and finally, organizing, since two years ago, the seminar about "Internet, Freedom and Society". Fundación OSDE possesses a strong interest in the new forms of cyberspace's regulation and is concerned about the protection of our common digital environment.
