Good morning.I using the jquery plugin https://jqueryvalidation.org/It was a bit diffculty to use it but I finally could.However, I am trying to find a way to automatically remove the HTML tage from a text field.In any cas, I will also do it from my MySQL qeuestion after, the user send the form,but when a user enter some things like this<a href="http://www.badwebsite.com">visite me</a>or some some paragraph like<p><br>I would to have to be automatically remove from the field.In other word, only text (or letters) should be enter to a fieldIs there a way to do it with jqueryvalidator or with another way?Many thanks- Good day allI am complete a small application with jquerymobile.On a page, I add a tab with the possibility to select date.On a smartphone, after selecting a date, the browser get a bit large when the date can be select.When it's done, I click on close button to close the panel.The problem is after the browser keep the same size and I have with my finder make the correct size.Is there a way to tell to jquerymobile or whatever, the give the default size??Many thanks

But I also use tab and I do not want to use that theme for the tabs.

I ma using jquerymobile to create a app which track items.
The items' position are recored into a MySQL database. It also stored the IMEI of SIMcard of people who are allowed to track.
I would like to create a secure way to compare the people who are allowed to track item. Then I tough to devlop the App to get the IEMI number and to check if the EMEI number is recored into the data base.
I would like to know which is the best way and the more secure way to send data to the MySQL remote server, to compare them. In my case, it would be the IMEI code, but later I may want to use an username and password.
Then I am asking about the best safe strategy

My problem is when I go through a tunnel where the satelite is not available.
Then GPS icon of my smartphone disapear.
The problem is when I leave the tunnel, the watch do not continue because the GPS is not active. I have to move to another page and return to home to see teh GPS icon and then the watch event retart.
Is there a way to "listner" the GPS signal?

the showErro(9 function works when I lunch the #home page, but when the #home is active and I loose the GPS, the showError() function is not called, even after the frequency of 1sec. I think it 's normal because the
navigator.geolocation.watchPosition() even can not be fired because the is no GPS, and then, no new position can be detected
Is there a way to solve that issue?
by the way, I thought to have a refresh button, but I realy can not find how to refresh manualy the same page.
Is there a simple code for that? I already test a lost of different solution, but nothing helped me.

Dear All,
I would really appreciate to have a help on creating a form.
I have a jquerymobile application working with Phonegape.
When I test it from my prowser, it works fine, but there is a bug, when I run it on my iPhone.
After testing and searching, I notice that the bug come after I send my form.
I am using that form in order to save the profile.
I would like to know, if you can help me on createting a form validation. I have to field which must be validate in order to make sure, they are not empy.
Do you have a tuto?

Dear All,
I am building a jquerymobile web site with Phonegap.
I notice the when I try and play with my application, after going form pages to pages it make an issue.
After a while, and I do not why, the prvious page is displayed.
For exemple, from my profile page, when I click to a contact link, the profile page come back.
If from the prifle page, I click again to the contact link (or to some other link), it move to the contact link and immediately, it returns to the profile page.
It does not matter, if it is from the profile page, or from another page.
It happens from wathever pages....
Do you have an idea, why?

I observed that when the map is not correctely loaded, as in the picture, the mode choose is at you can see in red circle. When the map iscorretely load, beside of "Satellite" or can also see "Plan".
I also noticed that when I return to #home, the map is reload.
First I would like to know if you can tell me how can do to load the map if it's not already loaded? In other words, to load the map only once, even if I change of pages.
How can I code a refresh button, like F5 on a browser, to simply reload the map "manualy"
Do you have any idea, why the map is not fully shown, as it's displayed in the picture?
Is there a possibility to cache the map, and making sure it's not reloaded?

Dear All,
In my Application, I am testing the network. If the GPS if active, I want to have the check icon and if not I want to have the delete icon. I craeted that function. I do not understand why the icon is not change depending of the connection. The text() works (see teh commented code) but the icon does not change.
I tried with button('refrresh') and I also tried with trigger('create'). But in both case, the icon is not changed.
What suggest you to me ?

I am loosing my time looking to get a value when I leave a page.
On my home page I have a code which record my position in a data called tracking_data- $('#home').live('pagebeforeshow', function(e){

Dear All,
I am displaying a googlemap to a div
<div id="map"></map>
It work fine excepted that <div data-role="content"> is not heigher than 1px.
I would like to have always the eigher the height of <div data-role="content"> or <div id="map">, heigh up to the <div data-role="footer">
In CSS if I use height=100%, the 100% does not work.
In that way, google map will always be displayed in all the screen of the smartphone

I am a novice but I develop and Jquerymobile web site and it work fine.
The senario:
I have a smartphone and a GPS module (for exemple a module attached to a dog), and I make a small trip with my dog.
I would like to know if you can procide me information about the developmenet of my jquerymobile application, with the goal to be alerted when my dog is away from my smartphone. For exemple, on my smartphone application, I defined a perimeter of 100m, if dog goes away, I got an alert.
From now, I do know my smartphone and my GPS module can work togheter?
How the smartphone position and the GPS module position can be compared?
The GPS signal should it be sent to a server?
How the server should be configured (linux, which software)?

- Then, I click the back button
- Then I click on "Titi" who have a phone. it slode to the second page, and the GPS is still checked, while it should be phone.
- Finally, when I press F5, the phone is checked instead of GPS
How can I adapt my code to have radio buttons updated, when I click "Titi" or "Toto".
I though that the checkboxradio('refresh'); will help.

Dear All,
I am building a mobile wen site for the phone.
I choose to have a multi template web site.
Exemple- <div data-role="page" id="page1">

On my first page, it collect and display data from a local database (localstorage). it display well the information.
On my second page, I have a form will delete an item from my local databae (localstorage). It works fine and when the element has been deleted, it is redirected to my first page with that code- $.mobile.changePage('#page1', {
transition : 'slide',
dataUrl : '#page1'
});
My problem is when I am byck to my first page, the deleted item is still showed until I refresh the page (F5).
I deducted that the page is only "slided" but it does not display the last upfated information from localstorage.
My question is the following.
How can I make sure that thee page page (or other page) are refreshed or reload.
I already tried several solution as this- $.mobile.changePage('#module', {
transition : 'slide',
dataUrl : '#module',
reloadPage : true
});
or (in the custom-script.js file- $.mobile.reloadPage = true;
But both does not work.
Any help?

Dear All,
I am trying hard to update my localStorage variable.
I need to delete a localStorage variable after a from is submited. My form is wihtin a dialog page.
When I click a button, it opens a dialog box to confirm the deletion.
Here is my form:- <div data-role="dialog" id="supprimer">

When it submited, I would like to have this dialog box still displayed.
I also have a script which will delete de localStorage:- $(document).live('pageinit', function(e){
$("#JSON-formSupprimer").submit(function() {
var formData = $(this).serialize();
alert(formData);

The problem is that nothing happen and I got an error message
I also observed if I add a php file in action="", the above error message desapear.Timestamp: 07.10.12 01:22:01
Error: uncaught exception: cannot call methods on listview prior to initialization; attempted to call method 'refresh'
I am new with jQuerymobile and I would like to know if someone can tell me how to setup that form for the best.
I think I am close to the result, but something should be wrong.

Dear All,
I use ajax to update a database. When the job is done the on susscess is lunched- function onSuccess(data, status)
{
data = $.trim(data); //until here it works fine
$("#dialog-contenu").html(data); // It works fine
$("#dialog1").dialog(); //it doe not work
}
"data" is collecting well the value. But after I would like that the content od "data" open a dialog box and display the content.
But I do not kow how to open the dialog box with the habove code.
In the code I have a dialog page- <!-- DIALOG EXEMPLE -->
<div data-role="dialog" id="dialog1">
<div data-role="header">Message</div>
<div data-role="content" id="dialog-contenu"></div>
</div>
Do you have an idea how to open the dialog box and by the way, how to reload the page when we close the dialog box?

Hello All.
I have a ajax script. When it sucessful return a value it filled up a div- function onSuccess(data, status)

This is nice but I would like to have the message in a dialog box.
I would like to know if jQueryMobile have a such event. I red the Dialog page but all work with link.
Someone know know how can I modify my onSuccess function to have the message displayed in a dialog, with a "nativ" jquerymobile event ?

I am new with jquerymobile. I created a simple form and I would like to update my database when the user press submit the form.

Dear All,
I am new in developping web application for mobile and I am trying to devlopping a application to show picture, as a gallery.
My problem: I do not know the size of the images, because iPad, iPhone, android and other, do not have the same screen size. And Of course, I would like to have the image displayed in full screen.
So, now how can i prepare my images?
Do I have to have different image size for each platform?

The reason why I ma requesting your help id for this:
When I move the mouse on the level1 menu, the sub menu appread and disapear => This work fine.
When I click on one level 1 menu, then its sub menu stay visible => this is work
But now when I clik on a link of the sub level2 menu, its page is display but the level2 sub menu is hidden
For exemple when I am vitiste the page of the sub menu of "Garcon > o-18 mois", the sub menu "0-18 mois" is not hidden.
I do not know if it is normla or not or if I miss some thing while I configure Superfishj.
Many thank for any help your can procide me to keep the level2 displayed while I ma visiting one of it page.
