Hi,

We are deciding over a mobile platform for developing mobile web applications. At present we have 2 options

1. Sencha

2. JQuery Mobile.

Now though JQuery Mobile attracts us more, we have few concerns.

1.      Sencha is being partnered with SAP and Sencha has good Future Roadmap and Good paid support. Jquery mobile doesn’t have any Future Roadmap also, we are not aware of any kind of support(other than community\blogs\forum) that Jquery Mobile provide. Any organization will look for better support and future roadmap.

2.      Sencha has more number of UI widgets compare to Jquery Mobile such as Carousel. When can we expect such kind of UI widgets from JQuery Mobile.

3.      Sencha provide way to support for offline mode. Can JQuery Mobile provide any API,s for offline support. This is essential for any mobile device.

4.      When can we expect next version of Jquery Mobile will be released? What new features are can we expect from Jquery Mobile next version.

Please help us to clarify my questions, so that we decide the correct platform we should choose.
