Newbie: Conditionally include script files

Hi,

In jQuery mobile page is there a way to conditionally include certain files (CSS, javascript) based on whether browser is iOS based or Android? If so, is there such an example?

There is no jQuery Mobile trick, but there is a core jQuery trick.

jQuery.getScript() | jQuery API Documentation gets a script if you have determined it is one of those devices.

intesso/jquery-getCSS · GitHub (which is tiny) does the same for a CSS file.

But most people use the same, so I hope you know what you are doing!

Thank you. Is there a quick example that shows conditionally include different script files based on whether the page is loaded in an Android or iOS Safari browser? Thanks!

jQuery.getScript() | jQuery API Documentation can be use when you have determined the OS.
