I think something like that should work:
$('#your-div').bind('focus', function() {
return false;
});
By the way, you're increasing the chances that your post gets read if
you do not answer to an existing thread but start a new one in the
subject. Most Email clients still sort that mail to the former thread,
thus it gets hidden.
