attribute (an empty string is the same as none at all in that case), so

Ok, but according to the jquery documentation "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is a valid selector, as in:

$("//[EMAIL PROTECTED]")

to find all input elements that are checked.

I tried that specific approach

$("//[EMAIL PROTECTED]")

and it still only finds "three".
