Michael -

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, things have been hectic.

How you'd like to run jQuery.de is up to you - however, I'm in the
process of setting up specialized sub-domains for each language. Right
now I have translations for French, Spanish, and Italian. These will
end up pointing to:
http://fr.jquery.com/ http://es.jquery.com/ and http://it.jquery.com/

Each of those URLs will get a wiki for documentation, in addition to
any other resources that they need. Since the jQuery mailing list is
moving to Google Groups, I assume that it would just be a pointer to a
Google Group for the jQuery German community.

Currently, the two most-popular international jQuery communities are:
http://jquery.info/ (French, Italian)
http://jquery.org.cn/ (Chinese)

The French site is a blog, focusing on original content and posts in
their native language.

The Chinese site has a forum, and translated copies of the API and
Visual jQuery.

In my opinion, there should be one, primary, place for documentation,
discussion, and blogging for each language. Right now, those resources
are spread around, but I would like to bring them closer to home.
Although, for now, having one version of those resources in
alternative locations is also an acceptable solution. (As long as the
jQuery web site points to them.)

All that being said, I could easily give you a web space for
http://de.jquery.com/ and you could point http://jquery.de/ towards
it, but that's up to you.

Right now, by biggest concern is in getting alternative versions of
the documentation up. We can work on other aspects after that. Let me
know what you think of this.
