Doesn't sound like anything I've seen. You mention you have two dialogs in a jQuery UI Tab. Does the issue persist if you remove the tabs and just have two dialogs. Would be great if you could put together a minimal test page demonstrating the problem. If you don't have a way to host the page publicly, please post to jsbin.com: http://jsbin.com/
