Note that I've also tried just intercepting the click event on the
accordion headers (to no avail):
$(".ui-accordion-header").click(function(event) {
alert('clickskies.. halt event here.');
event.cancelBubble = true;
if(event.stopPropagation) { event.stopPropagation(); }
return false;
});
