I saw. I was not impressed. It took them about a week to get the
zoho name out and the proper sender name in, too. I wasn't impressed
by that either.

- specific threads
- all posts by a particular author(s)

what nice is and means.
Before that, I know a lot of people were using rss2email
services, which still work.
It's trivial to feed RSS from a modern email list. No person who
receives an RSS feed should expect to be able to hit "Reply All"
but - it is apparently not trivial to enable email respondents to
receive plain text email from a forum and the ability to reply
to RSS seems to be part and parcel of this "move to forums" craze.
I'll blame myfacetwat and the rest of that evil. There is a major
problem with that gaggle.
Just face it, forums suck. They make you court evil, they are retro,
despite the newer and flashier buzz that invites you into the evil
that they do. If you really wanted newest? You'd twitter and all
that jazz. Then I'd really have to unsubscribe, in disgust.
