Because you included 3) this comments reads very arrogant / snobbish. Please communicate better, as this communication style makes me feel very uncomfortable. |

It was also noted on the IETF discussions that any regime that expresses preference about usage, can be not observed, due to other higher priority/precedence "rules" (law for example), and that the ai-preferences work is not about really about establishing any legal controls (which also do need to be established) So mechanically not having on the internet is the a "correct" route...but it is a particularly impractical or dragonian, until both of the above end up being in place. Unfortunately some of these lie under state's purviews :-( |

Yes, there will be tools available to express a preference of no AI training. If a creator wants to opt out of AI training altogether, they should: 1) use robots.txt with IETF AI Preferences opt-out when it becomes available; 2) use a technology solution to prevent access; or 3) remove your works from the internet.
CC signals doesn't include its own opt-out preference because the foundation of CC signals, the IETF AI Preferences, already does. Like CC signals, the AI Preferences are still a draft. For more information see the IETF AI Preferences (aipref) working group. There are also technologies designed to prevent AI from accessing content. See this comment for examples.
