The transitions turns very very slow and it's like jumping after write with virtual keyboard in textarea (except using defaultPageTransition=none).

How to test:

  • With transitions enabled ex: slide.
  • 2 or more pages (data-role=page). One with textarea.
  • Write in the text area.
  • Go to the other page.

Tested on iPad 4.2.1 with default browser, latest jQM (git downloaded).

I wonder if we need to blur form elements before starting a page transition to hide the keyboard?

Hi, just have the same kind of problem.

I'have submit it in the forum (http://forum.jquery.com/topic/transition-goes-wrong-when-ipad-keyboard-shows-up), but no solutions for now...

I made a video to show the problem : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iT8-YPETkAk
And a page to test on iPad : http://demo.netline.lu/jqueryMobile/

Can someone help us?

Thanks !

Tried on the iPad 2 and I don't see any difference between 1st transition and 2nd transition with soft keyboard brought up. Looks fixed to me.

Let's close this as resolved since @agcolom can't reproduce with latest but please chime in if you're seeing issues.
