Lots of mobile applications have a window shade pattern where there is some sort of tab or button attached to the top/bottom/side of the view port. Clicking on the tab causes its associated panel to slide out, revealing some feature or information.

Issues/Considerations:

• Will need to interact or be placed inside headers/footers so that they animate in tandem when scrolling.
• Window shade may not fill up the entire view port, so a possible feature would be to have a modal state that grays out the background until the shade is dismissed.
