Multiple permalinks

    Hello,

    I want to set up multiple permalinks on one site but having trouble finding out how to do that.

    For example, I plan to have the following structure for the site:
    www.mydomain.com/about
    www.mydomain.com/contact

    but also want to have a blog section with the following structure:
    www.mydomain.com/blog/2010/05/05

    Does anyone know to set this up?

    I think it all depends on what you have developed the site in ie. wordpress, joomla any other cms?

    If its wordpress I think it would be better to do all as permalinks. In the permalink settings options it only gives you the choice as either/or. (For "pretty permalinks" you would have to type "/%postname%" in the custom structure.) There's a good plugin for permalinks out there but the name is eluding me right now. Just search the WP plugin repository - maybe you can find something that will do what youre looking for.
