- Looking at the Icon set, I really don't see a good Icon for a GIS button, basically a "find my address" or invoke the Mobile GIS or a web-based GIS to find my address.Google uses the Pin button to "pin your current location". Another good GIS icon might be a "compass", or maybe a "a pair of binnoculars", or a "little antenna dish".Am I missing these icons?What are people using for an icon to institute a GIS search or to locate their address via the satellite so to speak?The location Icon doesn't really look like anything...?What is the eye icon suppose to mean?
Is there a release date set for Version 1.5 according to the timeline here? --> http://jquerymobile.com/roadmap/
Is there a possibility that JQuery Mobile is simply dropped? You have bootstrap becoming more mobile and more responsive and I'm wondering if the popularity jumps there and leaves JQuery Mobile. JQM is much easier way of looking at things for me as Bootstrap throws everything in but the kitchen sink, and that's an option.
Anybody have input or knowledge?
I've just started using Jquery Mobile. I need to build a responsive web site that is basically a mobile-ready HTML site that can be easily converted to a phone app later with PhoneGap and a single code base that runs on a website and most of the mobile devices with minimal effort to bridge compatibility.
My first problem which sort of goes at the heart of whatever jQuery mobile is suppose to be exactly: How do I change the width of the header.
` <div data-role="header" data-theme="c">
<h1>dumdum</h1>
</div>
`Should I be using a height in the style, should I be setting up a separate CSS file, give this div an ID and then supplement the height in that CSS? Themeroller creates its own CSS so I don't think making direct changes there would be a good thing because then I can't make small changes to the theme.
I'm just trying to understand how to use Jquery Mobile I guess which this very basic first step problem and even if its the right thing. I like the themeroller concept.
Also, if jquery mobile is not the right thing, please suggest otherwise.
