Founded in 1852, Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s oldest and most significant museums.

Our role is to collect, preserve, and share the cultural and natural histories of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific, past, present, and future.
