Vessels on the Brisbane River, 1890s
This image depicts several vessels, possibly Pearl-class cruisers, moored in the Brisbane River. The third ship in the distance could also possibly be a Sharpshooter-class torpedo gunboat of the Royal Navy.
The photograph was taken by John Cameron from an original glass plate taken by P C Poulsen from a collection of photographic negatives of original glass plate images from the 1890s-1930s.
