The reverse reads 'Dear Bill just a postcard to let you know that I am still alive. Born in Sydney around 1884 she first appeared on stage at the Alexandra Theatre in Melbourne around 1900. In 1905, 'The Modern Milo' presented a 'Fac-simile of Ancient and Modern Statuary and Sculpture' in a series of poses plastiques for Harry Rickards's variety theatres. In 1906 she went to England where under the name 'La Milo' she began a long theatrical career.
