THELMA under sail on Sydney Harbour

According to a Sydney Morning Herald article of 7 December 1889, THELMA was launched on Friday 6 December 1889 from the building yard of George Ellis at Waterview Bay, Balmain. The yacht was designed and built by Walter Reeks for for Mr J.F. Hoare of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron.
