18-footer JENNY IV on Sydney Harbour

This image shows Queensland yacht JENNY IV, skippered by Norman Wright Jnr, underway during the 1951 World's 18-footers Championship on Sydney Harbour. Other yachts in this image are: NSW entrant UNIQUE (red pennant with white cross), BEVERLY TOO (NZ, black triangle), ACE (NSW, black ace of spades), TARUA (NZ, 'V 5') and HARMONY (NZ, black fern). The 1951 World's 18-footers Championship was won by Sydney boat MYRA TOO, which was owned, built and skippered by shipwright Bill Barnett of Berrys Bay.
