New Zealand 18-footers TARUA and RESULT on Sydney Harbour
RESULT was built and sailed by Howard Pascoe and TARUA was built and sailed by Jack Logan. Both yachts represented New Zealand in the 1951 World's 18-footers Championship in Sydney Harbour. Logan competed with the Auckland Yacht and Motor Boat Association class registration number 'V 5' on the mainsail, sailing TARUA to second place. The championship was won by MYRA TOO, an Australian yacht designed, built and skippered by William Barnett of Berrys Bay, Sydney.
