This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970) in 1940.

 

This scene depicts six people standing on the stern deck of a boat in a body of water, with "Avalon" written on the boat's stern; one man is wearing a pith helmet, two men are wearing hats, and two girls and a young man are also present, while islands are appearing in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, 1/4 plate, on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
