This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970), possibly in the 1950s.

 

This scene depicts a man wearing shorts and a cardigan, holding a fishing rod and standing underneath a wooden frame with 'Whangaroa Swordfish and Big Game Fish' written across the top, while a wharf and boat are appearing in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 107 mm x 82 mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
