[Group fishing portrait]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970) in 1939.

 

This scene depicts a group of six men, two boys, and a girl, arranged with some standing and some crouching on grass, each holding a fish (possibly snapper) in each hand, while an automobile is showing on the far right, and a house, trees, and a hill are appearing in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 82 mm x 107 mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
