[Three people at the stern of a small boat on the water]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970) in 1939.

This image shows people having their backs turned to the camera, with one person clutching the bill of a large fish (possibly marlin) slumped across the boat's rear, while islands (possibly Piercy and Motukokako) and a coastline are appearing in the background.

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 82 mm x 107 mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
