[Catching a stingray from a dinghy]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970), possibly in the 1940s.

 

In this photo, there are three men standing in a dinghy, one hauling a hooked stingray from the water, while another man is standing in shallow water to the left, and coastal vegetation and a hill appear in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 82 mm x 107 mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
