[Woman poses with a shark]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970) circa 1952.

 

This image shows a woman standing on a wharf beside a shark suspended by its tail; the woman is holding a fishing rod in her left hand and resting her right hand on the shark's dorsal fin.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 107 mm x 82mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
