[Three men posing with a billfish]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970), possibly in the 1940s.

 

In this photo, there are three men standing on a wharf looking towards the camera, the man on the left holding a fishing rod and pipe, the man in the middle holding a cigar, and a swordfish hoisted for display in front of them, while a hill with trees and a house appears in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, 1/4 plate, on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
