[Children fishing portrait]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970) in 1939.

 

In this photo, there is a boy and a girl sitting on the front bumper of a Fargo automobile on grass, each holding a fish (possibly snapper); the boy is wearing shorts and a light shirt, the girl is wearing a polka dot dress, a pile of fish is lying in the foreground, and out-of-focus trees and a pole are appearing in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 107 mm x 82mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
