[Fishing from a dinghy]

This photograph was taken by Tudor Washington Collins (b.1898, d.1970), possibly in the 1940s.

 

In this photo, there are two men standing in a dinghy, the front man tugging a hooked stingray from the water and the man behind holding up a large snapper, while two other young men are standing in shallow water on either side holding up two large snapper each, with coastal vegetation and a hill appearing in the background.

 

The photographic medium is gelatin dry plate negative, measuring 82 mm x 107 mm (1/4 plate), on glass. It is classified under negatives/photographs/AAT Visual Works.
