Surratt House
The Surratt house at 604 H Street, NW, 1901. Mary Surratt ran this boarding house in 1865 where John Wilkes Booth was alleged to have met with co-conspirators to plan President Lincoln’s assassination.
Mrs. Surratt was convicted and hanged on July 7, 1865 with other coconspirators.
The Wok and Roll restaurant is now located in the house in the heart of Washington’s Chinatown.
