Instrumentation in A-29

A technician records high altitude flight data in a flying laboratory at the Aircraft Engine Research Laboratory (AERL) of the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics, Cleveland, Ohio, now known as the John H. Glenn Research Center at Lewis Field. The aircraft is an RA-29 Lockheed Hudson that was used at AERL from December 1943 to July 1945 for fuels studies, instrumentation development, and staff transportation.
