Astronaut David R. Scott practicing for Gemini VIII extravehicular activity (EVA) in building 4 of the Manned Spacecraft Center on the air bearing floor. Riding on a cushion of air, he's wearing the Hand-Held Maneuvering Unit (HHMU) which he planned on using during the EVA. However, the mission was cut short due to a faulty thrust sensor and he never got to use the HHMU.
