Astronauts Grissom and Young Prepare for Flight Simulation

Astronauts Virgil I. Grissom (left), command pilot; and John W. Young, pilot, prepare to run Gemini-Titan 3 (GT-3) simulations in the Gemini mission simulator at Cape Kennedy, Florida. NASA's Gemini III flight, the first crewed flight of the Gemini spacecraft, was scheduled for March 23, 1965. This would also mark the first time that two Americans flew to space at once.
