The set of centrifugal evacuators handled most of the tunnel’s flow at high Mach numbers, and the vacuum pumps maintained flow at the boundary layer removal slots during test runs. There were some inter-connections for certain situations. The control valve and electric heater for the inlet air are not shown here.
