(1959-L-07999): The 20-Inch Variable Supersonic Tunnel used compressed air from the Low-Turbulence Pressure Tunnel next door. Its test section was accessed through the round hatch in the center. Note the actuating arms at left that adjusted the nozzle to change the Mach number. Flow was left to right.
