Manuscript bookbinding, 16th century?

A manuscript fragment from a Psalter has been used to cover this book printed in 1530. Older manuscript material, thought to be no longer useful, was often re-used in the bookbinding process. The lines of text, from psalms 90 and 91, are complete, although the right-hand margin has been trimmed to fit the book. The material is vellum (animal skin).
