Victorian publishers' bookbindings

This set presents a selection of gold-blocked publishers' cloth bookbindings of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

For the purposes of this set the Victorian period (1837-1901) has been extended to the end of the First World War when the pictorial dust jacket became more common.
