Drumlins

Image Description from historic lecture booklet: "Drumlins are masses of boulder clay ridged up under the ice. they vary from 100 feet ot a mile or more in length and from 20 feet to 100 or 200 feet in height. Some are long and ridge-like; some short and lumpy; but the most typical drumlins are oval, having the shape of a half-submerged egg with the long direction parallel to the water surface."
