Del. Richard L. Anderson presents House Joint Resolution No. 385 commending the Virginia National Guard Guard for its accomplishments in the last year to Maj. Gen. Daniel E. Long, Jr., the Adjutant General of Virginia, March 4, 2014, during a center aisle presentation in the Virginia House of Delegates in Richmond, Va. Members of the Virginia Army National Guard, Virginia Air National Guard and Virginia Defense Force were recognized during the presentation as well: Col. Douglas Messner, commander of the 183rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute, Col. Michael Lawson from the Virginia Defense Force, Lt. Col. Bryan Salmon, commander of the 192nd Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Squadron, Maj.
