Delegate Ramadan observes artillery training at Fort Pickett

Virginia Delegate David I. Ramadan, representing the 87th district in Loudoun and Prince William counties, observes live fire artillery training conducted by Virginia National Guard Soldiers from the Norfolk-based Battery B, 1st Battalion, 111th Field Artillery, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team April 5, 2014, at Fort Pickett. After visiting the firing battery and fire direction center, Ramadan toured the logistical support area operated by Company G, 429th Brigade Support Battalion and enjoyed a meal prepared by Company G food service personnel. Soldiers from the 116th IBCT were at Fort Pickett for the April drill weekend to prepare for the Exportable Combat Training Center rotation planned for annual training in June at Fort Pickett.
