Artillery Soldiers increase speed and accuracy safely

Artillerymen of Hampton-based 1st Battalion, 111th Field Artillery Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team conduct occupation drills April 4, 2014, at Fort Pickett, Va. Soldiers increased the speed in which they are able to safely get in place, align their M119A1 105mm howitzers, and prepare to fire. Occupation drills are one of many tasks the Soldiers will conduct during the brigade-wide Exportable Combat Training Center rotation in June at Fort Pickett. The XCTC rotation will focus on section, squad and platoon validation and external evaluation. (Photo by Sgt. JoAnna Greene, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Public Affairs Office)
