Caption: Cape Henry Lighthouse, Virginia Beach, Virginia. The first lighthouse authorized by the U.S. government, dating from 1792. It was also the first federal construction project under the Constitution.
Traveling through Virginia Beach after briefing the 1710th Post Mob Yellow Ribbon event on 6 April 2014, and happened through FT Story Camp / Little Creek Joint Expeditionary Base. Took a tour to the top of the lighthouse with Emily and Ruthie Abercrombie on a picture perfect day.
