Virginia National Guard Chaplain (Capt.) Jeffrey Hicks, the 1030th Transportation Battalion’s chaplain, awaits processing after being “arrested” for a training exercise July 19, 2014, during the battalion’s annual training at Fort Pickett, Va. Hicks, a native of Wytheville, Va., was arrested after a warrant was created for training purposes by the Manassas-based 266th Military Police Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group, which included the charge of only showing movies with a “PG” rating. Despite an arrest warrant made up of comical charges for training purposes, the training exercise provided the Soldiers with an opportunity to practice various military police procedures during their unit’s annual training.
