Virginia National Guard Chaplain (Capt.) Jeffrey Hicks, the 1030th Transportation Battalion’s chaplain, explains the reasoning behind only showing PG-rated movies, one of the charges listed on his simulated arrest warrant, to Soldiers of the Manassas-based 266th Military Police Company, 1030th Transportation Battalion, 329th Regional Support Group, in the company’s interrogation room July 19, 2014, after his “arrest” at Fort Pickett, Va., during the battalion’s annual training. Despite an arrest warrant made up of comical charges for training purposes, the training exercise provided the Soldiers with an opportunity to practice various military police procedures during their unit’s annual training.
