Senior leaders visit the 203rd RHS engineer project at VMI

Senior military leaders visit the Virginia Beach-based 203rd RED HORSE Squadron’s Innovative Readiness Training Project July 14, 2014, at Virginia Military Institute's McKethan Park in Lexington, Va. Gen. J. H. Binford Peay, III, VMI Superintendent, Col. Dale R. Brown, VMI director of construction, and Lt. Col. Stock Dinsmore, 203rd RED HORSE Squadron commander, visited the Airmen, VMI Cadets and civilian contractors during the construction of a pavilion that is part of an Innovative Readiness Training project. Building on the concrete pad they laid last summer, the Airmen are working with local contractors and several VMI students to complete a pavilion with a two-sided fireplace and latrine during their annual training from July 7-Aug. 1, 2014. IRT projects provide service members opportunities for real-world training to support their wartime mission while the community benefits from the final product. (Photo by Capt. Jenny K.
