116th BSTB Soldiers focus on team training

Virginia Army National Guard Soldiers of the Fredericksburg-based Company A and Headquarters Company, 116th Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team work on basic warrior tasks Oct. 4, 2014, during their drill weekend at Fort A.P. Hill, Va. Engineers from Company A and military police Soldiers from Headquarters Company focused their training on small unit movements. The Soldiers plotted and followed a route over three miles into a wooded area where a simulated group of opposing forces waited to interrupt the planned course. The Soldiers tackled the course in squads, using the exercise to gain experience working in small teams. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Miko M. Skerrett, Virginia National Guard Public Affairs)
