Sappers conduct explosives training
Virginia National Guard Soldiers of the West Point-based 237th Engineer Company (Sapper), 276th Engineer Battalion, 91st Troop Command participate in demolitions training Jan. 10, 2015, at Fort Pickett, Va. The Soldiers were tasked with conducting reconnaissance on a simulated potential minefield behind enemy lines, determining the amount of demolition needed to clear the path, and priming, laying and detonating the charge.
