Va. Guard leaders meet with 203rd RHS Airmen in advance of upcoming deployment

Senior leaders of the Virginia National Guard meet with Airmen and families of the 203rd RED HORSE Squadron Feb. 28, 2016, at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, Brig. Gen. Dean A. Tremps, the Chief of Staff and Air Component Commander of the Virginia Air National Guard, and other senior leaders answered questions and thanked the Airmen and their families for their service and support in advance of the unit's scheduled federal mobilization later this year. RED HORSE stands for Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers and the unit provides a highly mobile civil engineering response force to support contingency operations worldwide.
