Soldiers of the 116th MET prepare for federal mobilization
Virginia National Guard Soldiers of the Staunton-based 116th Military Engagement Team prepare for their upcoming federal mobilization during annual training at Fort Pickett, Virginia, held Feb. 15 - March 5, 2016. During the annual training period, Soldiers of the 116th MET were issued new equipment, brushed up on their combatives skills, went through rollover training and conducted classroom training. During their federal mobilization, the 116th MET will conduct military-to-military engagements with partners in U.S. Army Central Command’s area of responsibility including Kuwait, Jordan, Oman and Tajikistan.
